Breen's Visit

Snow Day

Oh what fun it is to play on a sunny, snowy day.

CSO

Four members of the CSO came to our school and showed us their instruments. We listened to their tunes. A few of us got to try their instruments.                              

These are the names of the instruments that they had.

Butter Making Explained!

Liquid Nitrogen

That is the liquid nitrogen.

What's the matter: Mr lynch was showing us liquid nitrogen. 

It is a very cold liquid, boiling and evaporating at -197 degrees. 

He put some resources into the liquid nitrogen  like a banana, a balloon, a flower, some fire, some lead,  and a film contanister with liquid nitrogen.  

This is what happened: The banana froze, the balloon deflated, the flower shattered, the fire went out, the film canister exploded.
