Bags Completed

Josphine and Luca model the Room 5 sport bag they made for art. After taking apart a sports bag as a template, they cut out the material and with the help of an expert sewed it together. They then punched in two eyelets and strung up the cord. They used a felt mosaic for the patterns.
Looking good!

Magic Performances by Jack and Max

There are two types of magic white (good) and black (bad) magic. Magic is a type of performance preformed by Magician. Magic can be found in many parts of the world. Many cultures experienced periods in which witches and other practitioners of magic were hunted down and punished.

Powers may allow the practitioner to talk to inanimate objects,

Skilled magicians can appear to make flowers bloom in mid-air, cut women in half, conjure rabbits from top hats, escape from sealed tanks, and perform other feats. This practice of magic does not involve the harnessing of supernatural forces; it requires hard, focused work and years of study to be successful.

Busking

What is busking?
Busking is an art on the street where you show off your talents by spinning plates, eating swords, playing music and lots more!

They often play for money, but always for fun.

Our main busking attraction is the busking festival we have in the town square each summer.

Busking has been going on for centuries. Buskers are      pretty much in every culture.

 The term busking was
first noted in English langue around the 1860’s.
The word busk comes from the Spanish root word “buskar” meaning “to seek
or wander” By Lucy and Luca.
