On Friday the 16th ,a storyteller called Apirana Taylor came to our school to tell us some of the Maori myths and some of his stories when he was young. These are some of them: The Dream Of Aroha, Reihana The Ant, Mother Tohora The Whale and The Lolly Tree. He brought in some of his Maori instruments. He told us The Lolly Tree story in a really funny way. He made some shapes out of the strings he brought with him. Here are some photos.

Apirana Taylor the storyteller
