This is Casey with the bug lady's bunny. Casey learnt about bugs and animals. He got to see a rabbit and hold a bird. He even got to see a frog in its travel cage.

Four members of the CSO came to our school and showed us their instruments. We listened to their tunes. A few of us got to try their instruments.

Liquid Nitrogen

That is the liquid nitrogen.

What's the matter: Mr lynch was showing us liquid nitrogen. 

It is a very cold liquid, boiling and evaporating at -197 degrees. 

He put some resources into the liquid nitrogen  like a banana, a balloon, a flower, some fire, some lead,  and a film contanister with liquid nitrogen.  

This is what happened: The banana froze, the balloon deflated, the flower shattered, the fire went out, the film canister exploded.

Room 5 spent the whole afternoon trying to define what made a gas a gas, a solid a solid and a liquid a liquid. Great scientific debate. It hurt our heads!!
